Assembly Rooms
The Assembly Rooms is a Grade II listed building on Queen Street, originally opened in 1843 as a Temperance Hall. Today, it serves as a vibrant community hub owned by Barton Upon Humber Town Council. The venue offers flexible spaces including a large first-floor hall with a sprung dance floor, a ground-floor committee room for meetings and activities, and a kitchen for catering support.
Located in Barton’s conservation area, the Assembly Rooms combines historic character with modern functionality. It is within walking distance of local amenities, public transport, and car parks, making it easily accessible for guests. The building is perfect for community groups, private events, and civic functions, with ongoing plans to enhance accessibility and refurbish spaces to meet diverse needs.
