Remembrance Parade 2025

Barton Upon Humber Town Council will host its annual Remembrance Parade and Service on Sunday 9th November 2025, inviting residents and community groups to come together in honour of the fallen and those who have served in the armed forces.

The parade will assemble outside The Assembly Rooms on Queen Street, with the procession setting off at 10:15. The Parade will follow a route through the town—via High Street, Burgate, Whitecross Street, and Barrow Road—before arriving at the War Memorial for the 10:45 Service.

This year, the Council warmly welcomes local community groups to take part in the parade and to lay wreaths during the service. Any groups wishing to participate are encouraged to get in touch with the Council in advance to help with planning and coordination.

The service at the War Memorial will include the laying of wreaths, a two-minute silence, and readings to commemorate those who gave their lives in service. Residents are encouraged to join the commemoration . See below for the Service Brochure containing hymns and the order of service
