Charges

  • Single Space £15 (3m x 3m)
  • Town Council Gazebo Hire £20 (includes 6ft table)
  • Stall/Space charges must be paid on demand in advance of the day of attendance
  • Where a trader is absent on the market day, no refund of previously paid fees will be issued
  • Barton Upon Humber Town Council reserves the right to amend its charges and payment instructions as necessary, and will inform traders of any changes to its charges.

Cancellation

Cancellation of a stall by a trader:

Up to 10 days before a market – no charge

Within 10 days before a market – no charge if we are able to resell your place at the full rate (but if not able to sell then full charge will be made).

If Barton Upon Humber Town Council are forced to cancel a market due to adverse weather or other conditions, we will:

Aim to notify all traders by email a minimum of 24 hours before the given event where possible

Traders will not be charged for any cancelled stalls/spaces

Traders will not be eligible for compensation in the event of cancellation to a market

Where cancellations are due to adverse weather, the Council will be guided by the Met Office warnings, for example, a “yellow” warning for wind will be considered sufficient to cancel a market

Other cancellations will be considered on a case by case basis by the Council

Decisions of cancellation by the Council are final.
